Great for all!

Step into the realm of Tudor fantasy created at the Ulster County Fairgrounds and help raise funds for the Queen's Galley soup kitchen and food insecurity programs!

All areas of the festival are in need of volunteers. Food concessions, front gate and ticket booth operators, grounds, pre-set up and breakdown. Pre-show help is also needed, assist with ad sales and sponsorships.

Costumes are required and we will help costume you if you do not own your own.

About the Performance Company
The Black Hart Players, the official name of the volunteer Hudson Valley Mayfaire Performance Company, is made up of seasoned professionals and newcomers. Through workshops designed to provide a fun environment and hone improvisation skills, newcomers to the art of acting for faires will learn all they need to go out there and do it.

Experienced actors will also find something new in the rehearsal and character development process. The Black Hart Players believes in giving you the chance to try that one type of role you've never had a chance to perform, to explore your creative freedom and create something truly magical.
