Go with me, like good angels, to my end;
And, as the long divorce of steel falls on me,
Make of your prayers one sweet sacrifice,
And lift my soul to heaven. -- Shakespeare's Henry VIII, 1.1 His StoryIf ever there was a well-known English monarch, Henry VIII was it. Henry died in 1547 and left England to his son, Edward VI. But our little faire is set in 1548, how is this possible? Henry VIII was dead. He just didn't know it. Auberon and his fae crashed Henry's May Festival last year and Henry saved Auberon's hide at one point. Not forgetting his debt to the mortal king, Auberon stole him away as the king dreamt one last dream to show him how to conduct a true May faire. His FactsActor: Tim MacDonald Mythology: Historical |
