Entering its fourth glorious season as the entertainment of choice for thousands of patrons, The Hudson Valley Mayfaire is a fun-filled, family-orientated fantasy faire held each May for one weekend only.

Supported by kind donations and sponsorship, HVMF benefits The Queen's Galley, a 501(c)(3) charity that concentrates on eliminating food insecurity in the Hudson Valley region and now beyond. Congratulations to the Galley for its growth!

You can expect to Indulge in food from all over, musicians, magicians, live demonstrations, mead and ale, smoked turkey legs and so much more! Shop with our merchants from all over and delight in the music that fills the air throughout the day.

Join us in a day of courtly romance with nobles as they dance! Watch knights on horseback during our two jousts! Jeer at evil queens and cheer for heroic kings! Dress up as your favorite fairy or renaissance character!

We love Daniel Greenwolf and ALL of the musicians playing. ( Most of them are our regular favorites from the NYRF ). The merchants and food were wonderful also. And the Keegan Ales! The Best! What a fun time..and right in our own backyard, the beautiful Shawangunk Mountains!

Your full day of family fun and merriment includes live music, hand-made crafts, armored knights on horseback, creatures from myth and legend, delicious food from all over the Hudson Valley, story telling, The Kid's Kingdom, live steel combat, weapons demonstrations, Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew, and much more! Feast on goods from all over as you sip on cold ale, mead, or softer drinks. Come dressed up (play along!) but remember, peace-tie your weapons! (Firearms, replica or no, are not permitted.)

Every week from now until Mayfaire 2009, this website will feature a new character profile from the preceeding year. When Mayfaire 2009 rolls around, you'll start seeing new characters appear as our little village of King's Town grows and comes to life once more.
